The Cali Conscious Collective organizes and helps to run a beach clean up in Huntington Beach every third Saturday of the month. They bring the community together through yoga and music, providing a free yoga class at CLEOBELLA 12:45-1:45pm and a free concert featuring Cali Conscious 7:30-10:30pm and a special guest 2-5pm at Schooner at Sunset! We are educating and creating awareness about our individual roles as consumers by picking up the trash on the beaches we live and play on. We continually pickup PLASTIC STRAWS, PLASTIC BAGS, PLASTIC AND STYROFOAM CUPS, TO GO CUPS FROM BIG FAST FOOD CHAINS (such as McDonalds, Starbucks, Jack in the Box, Jamba Juice, Burger King, Del Taco,)…LIGHTERS, PLASTIC BOTTLE CAPS, CHIP BAGS, JAM/JELLY CONTAINERS and JELLO CONTAINERS! After we clean the beach we see the negative effects it has on the environmenta we have become so disconnected from. It is time to change our habits and to be conscious to our individual consumption!
